Visa Interview

Even a simple interview could be so complicated *sigh *

Joelin and Yeesin reached the parking of the embassy at 9 am and our interview is at 10am.
We are not allowed to go in until 10mins before 10. So they waited in the car and called me and I'm still at home. LOLx ( They are coming from Damansara and surprisingly there is not jam. That's why )

And so 10 minutes before I arrived at the main gate of the embassy I received sms from Joelin saying that they are going in already. Since Joanne is having our document so I suppose she's there when I arrived at 9.35am but I saw no one !!!

I got panic as I thought both of them ( Joelin, Yeesin ) had gone into the building and so leaving their mobile at the security check point. That's why I didn't call them and Joanne is nowhere to be found...

Walking anxiously infront of the embassy and everyone there is looking at me ... so damn embarassing :-(

All of the sudden I saw Joelin and Yeesin appeared infront of me and Joanne arrived not long after that. *phew* it just simply because that I'm early and the sms saying that " we are going in now" means they are walking to the embassy from the car park. what the.... miscommunication aiks.

Everything went smoothly after that till I met my interviewer Mr. Joshua
He really za me kao kao with his question...
I'm not prepared to have question like that thrown to me as those who finished earlier ( of different interviewer ) said that it was easy and a very quick one a real quick one..

Here is what happen when I reached the counter.....

Joshua : Hi ( looking down at the paper )
me : Hi, Good Morning.
( after a few second )
Joshua : Morning ( still looking down at the paper )
( looking up at me after 10 seconds ) Tell me what is UCSI ?
me : ( huh? ) A university? a college?
Joshua : Is it INTI College?
me : No
Joshua : What does UCSI stand for?
me : University College Sedaya International?
Joshua : Are you in diploma or a degree programme?
me : Degree
Joshua : So do you take your.... A level? Diploma? Pre-U? in the same uni?
me : No because I took STPM.
Joshua : STPM? What is STPM?
me : ( huh?) a goverment examination? something like the SPM.
Joshua : meaning to say you went for your degree course after your SPM?
me : No, we must have Per-U qualification and mine is STPM.
Joshua : What is it? Why haven I heard of it?
me : ???? Do you know SPM?
Joshua : Yes
me : STPM is after SPM. It's equivalent to A level, diploma and all the Pre- U programme
Joshua : Why don't people take STPM? Why do they go for A level instead?
me : Because it is difficult?
Joshua : Why is it difficult?
me : ( what the.... ) Because it's difficult to score in the exam?
Joshua : Why is it difficult to score in the exam?
me : ( *^%$#@@^) People normally take STPM is because of they wanted to go to the local
U and it's hard to get into the the course of your choice so people just choose to give up
on that
Joshua : Ah~~~ I see. Where will you be working at?
me : Morey's Piers, New Jersey
Joshua : where?
me : Morey's Piers? New Jersey?
Joshua : What is Morey's Piers?
me : ( &%%$^&)( no strength to answer) .....
Joshua : an office or what?
me : a theme park?
