I've received a bad news weeks ago..

my beloved friend had passed away and was shocked with the news as there is nothing abnormal about him except for he had cancer 3 years ago and already had the tumor removed and did the chemo. I thought that he is all well now...

There comes the hypothesis which is it might be due to accident as it was so sudden but I were told that it was the cancer!!!

He had discovered new tumor about 8 months after his chemo but it wasn't a bad cell at the first place. However it did turned into a bad cells as times goes by and he had prepared for it.

To my surprise he lived life fruitfully as if there is nothing is letting him down and carry on with his college, friends and family.

I didn't expect that CNY would be the last time I saw him. Which makes me seriously think of this saying "we would never know, today might be the last day you meet whoever you meet today and the next day they are gone" *touch wood*

What a strong spirit he had. He is only 24.

May him rest in peace and be in a better place.

Those previous post were the "outstanding debt" for my blog... and to all friends I have landed in Malaysia on the 17th of October 2009. So... don't ask me where are you now? are you still in US?

Did not update the blog mainly because of the bad connection in the US and busying with internship and schooling until today that I've submitted my very last assignment of my uni study.

Hoho, it's my last stop and also the favourite city of mine --- Seattle

I'm glad that I did choose to come here when I was wondering whether to stay in LA instead.

I love Seattle... not hectic, kinda slow, and it seems like a typical american city... and most importantly the leaves turned red as an indication for the autumn season as I can't find it either in LA or NYC. LOL jakun me...

I'm feeling good strolling from the space needle to the city centre, it feels so relaxing. The people are also helpful. Met with 1 old couple who is going back to their home, Seattle in the LA airport, they are the one who wake me up from my sleep while waiting for the check in counter to open. We have a long chat with the uncle and he showed me the tatoo he got from Fiji... it's a turtle, it's nice.

After a long hour drive from LA , we had finally reached Vegas in the afternoon and this is the first view we saw after getting off the bus.

This is some sauce served with the dinner main course. To my surprise that it got harden when its temperature went down to the normal room temperature. I suppose it's some sort of saturated fat which is unhealthy? I've been taking this thing in for the night... yucks!

After dinner, getting a cab down to the city centre. Starting to have the Vegas feel that we watched from the TV all time?

But to my disappointment was....

yes, it is well lit up and that make it looks nice and happening... but it's only stretch out on just a particular street for like 4-5km? the rest was dark....

And... we have tried out the limo... once in a life time experience? hehe

Woohoo...!!! it has been a while since the last I upload my blog...
Due to the sucky line in Wildwood and also busy working for almost 16 - 17 hours per day
but still so poor :-(

Yeah I am on my bed right now in Los Angeles Adventurers Hostel not planning to go anywhere today after the hectic schedule we have in New York... rush rush rush fast fast fast~~~
Everything just ' touch and go ' and it was so wasted that we do not have enough of time to explore the Metropolitan Museum in NY and also we could not make it for Solomon Guggenheim Museum $%$^%$^&& *wtf What a waste!

Will try to blog about the tripS as it's so tiring that I've spend a night in John F Kennedy airport.

P/s Nigel , if you see this post FYI JFK is not a good airport... It's SUCKS!!! even Changi Airport or KLIA is better.

It's a long waited trip by all of us --- Delaware tax free outlet
American told us that it's cheap there compared to outlet in Atlantic City...
so we decided to go there...
We took bus, bus, ferry then bus again to reach there and that's only 1 day journey !!!

This is how the outlet looks like and does not seems to be what we expected it to me... it looks 'cheap'... LOL

Lunch in ihop ... famous for pancake wo~~~ but did not order their pancake anyway, I just don't like it..

Due to in the shopping mood and not so beautiful place not much picture is taken :P

When I signed up for the Baltimore Baseball trip I've no idea what do they have in Baltimore and the main purpose is to watch the baseball game although I do not know the rule of the game...

It's the first time 7 of us went for a trip together..
DESTINATION ---> Cape May Zoo, Cape May Town and Cape May lighthouse
Although I'm not interested in the Zoo but it's free so why not? *omg* I'm so aunty

Waking up early morning and cycle to the bus terminal and there we are!

After arrival at Cape May Zoo bus stop and it's some distance away from the main entrance which mean that we gotta WALK under the hot sun!!!

Almost there and we saw this yellow American school bus that we used to see in the TV... so *pose* again

Did not expect anything from it and was reluctant to go in the first place but who knows....
I ENJOYED IT !! First time ever ...

Got high along with the music without the influence of the alcohol !! WOW~~

No mamak after clubbing so decided to go for sunrise watching as the sun rises at about 5am and it was about 3am after the club. Who knows it rains and we were all wet. Bad timing.

22nd Birthday

TaDa ~~ My Birthday on the 12th of July 2009 ( US time ) :P

First was the UNCLE rushing me to on my webcam when I'm so hungry after work and I need FOOD!!! Without bothering him I went to make my instant noodle ( what a pathetic birthday gal )

Reluctantly went back to the computer to on my webcam as requested and he surprise me with a birthday cake with A candle on it ( din know that I'm only 1 year old ). Gone speechless for a second and I'm all cool down despite of the fire that he had gotten me into when he kept bugging me to go online.

After got disconnected, received his call to my maxis phone as well ( he is so gonna pay for it :P) asking me whether it rains here. What a weird question to ask on a call all the way back from Malaysia. Did not understand that until I got back online and I saw this message :

It's much more better than the one in Morey's Piers - hectic and crowded with tourist.
This is much more relaxing and with the real America feel

Getting the ' blue black' on my knee while working on my model for my final presentation...
Yeah the archi is so torturing me....

This is how it looks like after I've been rubbing it for a day.
It is so obvious that I'm not able to wear a skirt or it might look as a dirty spot on my knee.
Well you know some do have darker knee ( either it's dirty or it's natural colour)

so I was trying to experiment with all the make up foundation and concealer that I've got and this it what it had turned out to be...not perfectly conceal but at least appeared lighter...
kinda amazed with the make up kits.

I hate people making a blind guess as a fact/conclusion ...

What we have seen and what we have heard might not be true
Do not jump into the conclusion immediately
As there are many other possibilities of how things could lead to what we saw and heard of
and of course it could be a possitive or a negative one
but negative ones always lead the way
I don't know why. Maybe it's just human nature that prefer to think of the bad rather than the good.

Seek for an answer/proof before you come to a conclusion or it will just remain as an assumption.

The act of making a blind guess and treat it as a fact is blaming/scolding others for things that you think they did.
ARGH~~~ it annoys me!!!

I will normally stand up for myself if something similar happens to me but sometimes I found that it's not worth to spend your time explaining to people who acted that way even if there is misunderstanding ( provided it is not a serious one) or there would be many explaining to do.

Wow~~~ we have been put into a situation where we were told that the air ticket that we booked earlier for RM 4320 had increased to RM4860 last week...

RM 540 of increase !!! * heart attack *

but anyway we were asked to confirm with the agent again on tuesday but were told that the price appeared in the system was RM 4440 which is the original price but she need to called the airline to confirm as it's strange to have the price reduce back to the original in a few days time.

We were crossing our finger hoping that it's back to the original...

And again we were told (in the same day, tuesday) that the airline cannot be contacted and so I called them again today...guess what???!!!

The airline is having promotion in April and our ticket cost us only RM 3980 !!!

We are happier than stricking the lottery...

Visa Interview

Even a simple interview could be so complicated *sigh *

Joelin and Yeesin reached the parking of the embassy at 9 am and our interview is at 10am.
We are not allowed to go in until 10mins before 10. So they waited in the car and called me and I'm still at home. LOLx ( They are coming from Damansara and surprisingly there is not jam. That's why )

And so 10 minutes before I arrived at the main gate of the embassy I received sms from Joelin saying that they are going in already. Since Joanne is having our document so I suppose she's there when I arrived at 9.35am but I saw no one !!!

I got panic as I thought both of them ( Joelin, Yeesin ) had gone into the building and so leaving their mobile at the security check point. That's why I didn't call them and Joanne is nowhere to be found...

Walking anxiously infront of the embassy and everyone there is looking at me ... so damn embarassing :-(

All of the sudden I saw Joelin and Yeesin appeared infront of me and Joanne arrived not long after that. *phew* it just simply because that I'm early and the sms saying that " we are going in now" means they are walking to the embassy from the car park. what the.... miscommunication aiks.

Everything went smoothly after that till I met my interviewer Mr. Joshua
He really za me kao kao with his question...
I'm not prepared to have question like that thrown to me as those who finished earlier ( of different interviewer ) said that it was easy and a very quick one a real quick one..

Oh yeah, I think I can now officially announce that I'm going to the STATES !
Will be leaving on the 12 or 11 of June...

Am going under Work and Travel Programme ( WAT)... of course the best part is to get travel...
and I'm telling you... I'm so gonna work like hell during working period ( provided if I can get extra hours ) and spend like hell after that !!! woo hoo !!!

I don't plan to go if I were to defer my semester but after giving it some thoughts...
I've decided to DEFER...

It was a last minute trip to Seremban to my housemate's boyfriend's sister's birthday party ( lol kinda unrelated *bleh* )

Well, I did say that I hate putting up a night during a last minute trip and I mean it until my conscience betrayed me when the couple invited me to put up a night at his family vacation condo by the seaside at Port Dickson.

I just couldn't help myself when a seaside/beach is in offer and so I went!

This is what I got around 7.30am at the balcony... unexpectectly awsome view!

When mentioning about Port Dickson, sure not to forgot the stupidest thing I've encounter there 2 years ago..

~Yeah, drove all the way down in the middle of the night with partially closed eyes to admire the dawn. How the hell on earth that we are going to have dawn in Port Dickson???!!! as it is on the WEST coast !!!

We only realised that we were at the west when the sun is already shining bright up the sky!!!

My CNY Celebration

Well basically we just went back during the new year eve to have our reunion dinner...

but for my dad side they are used to have lunch so we went over to mom side at night to join their dinner :p

Looking at those newphews running around it just remind me that our time is over and the grandparents are gone too. It's time for the new generation... It sounds like I'm getting old :P

We used to be paired up by our parents with the almost same aged cousin as so for easy comparison~~~ from the school result to our height ( yeah! ridiculous)...

These are the few pairs:
1. my sis (Siew Li) with Randy koko
- each of them has a child now Ryan and Syivesh which is the first pair of the new
generation as they were borned in the same year.
2. Me and Sze hui
- We were both born in the same year too... and we use to have a same shirt and took a
picture together with that shirt... pretty much like twins ( try to find the picture and scan it :P)
- We are now studying in different Uni for our degree...
3. Kia Siang and Zachary
- 1 year difference
4. Ryan and Syivesh
- turning 3 in a few months time

Next, was the dinner for the first day of the Chinese New Year...taking in a restaurant together with my dad's stepmother family...

After dinner is when we are going out to join the crowd and it made me confuse between Eye on Malaysia and Eye on Melaka ... It's a totally different thing man...

Have you guys came accross with this thing? -- YOUTH '09?

Yeah I've been there this Saturday and participated in the photography competition. I would not say that I'm a pro but just to get some experience and meeting people besides testing my photography standard... LOL

And this is my pass... (p/s it's stated there that I'm entitled for a goodie bag but.... I received nothing except for 3 pieces of paper which includes a discount coupon for some skincare product and the rest was the info on the event *grr~~*)

There are lots of booth setting up there all for the youth... surprisingly many did turn up at the event... hmm...

After registration for the competition at about 11am there's a briefing at 12noon on tips of taking photo and also the rules of the competition...
The theme will be posted at their booth at 1.30pm so I went around and testing with my DSLR while waiting for it.

and here I got this MC which look like my cousin (Randy koko)..lol.. by the way I do not think that this MC is good with his joke....muahaha... evil me...

Here is 1.30pm and the theme was RED...hmm... quite an easy one I'll say compared to the second theme.

The rules are:
- 30 mins were given for shooting during each round
- we are required to take 10 photos and choose 5 to be submitted
- there'll be no delete in between the 10 photos.
- those who reached later than 30 mins and has deleted photo in between the 10 will be disqualify.

These are the photos that I've submited for that round.

Erm... although I'm not very satisfied with it but still consider OK ..since they are taken in 30 mins time...

Surprisingly, I'm qualified for the secound.

The second theme was ACTION... well I have no idea what to take for that so the the outcome is not even at an OK standard so I'm not gonna post it on!! and of course I'm out at this round. :)

I'm so so so nervous for not being able to get a good shot while time is ticking. I feel like wanna give up and not gonna submit my photos... But something in me that ask me to keep moving and try to take the best shot I can till the last minute and submit the best that I have even it's not up to the standard. I'm glad that I did it although I've been kicked out during this round.

It's the spirit of " Never give up until the last minute" I guess?

I'm cool with it :P at least I've passed the first round ( so optimistic :P)

This picture was suppose to be submited in the second round but unfortunately it's not among the 10 :( Was not the best shot but...I think this girl has got her personality...

Besides the competition, I've signed up for AISEC and also have a nice chat with the lady from "Out of the Box" programme.

Oh ya, there is some misfortune that I've encounter over there... I went there with empty stomach as I've over slept and was thinking of having lunch in PWTC... after taking a pack of nasi lemak and a bottle of mineral water which cost me RM 6 ... WTF !!! RM 3 for each!!! Did not matter anymore as long as it can fill up my stomach but then I found that my purse was empty RM 0.00. God damn it. ( taken all my money out 1 day before that) *faint*

So I make my way to the CIMB in PWTC and it was out of order :( and finally I have to walk to The Mall to get an ATM mechine and have my lunch at McD... what a miserable life *phew*

At last, was the Jazzercise at the main stage... It looks fun as the visitor were asked to dance along under the stage...Felt like joining together but I've to look after my camera and was tired too so I just opt to sit and watch...

I've been there ALONE !!! O.O

call me loner or whatever I don't care as long as I enjoy it :P

I would say that I have a very weird way of starting my year 2009...
was walking ( and you could say running ) around KLCC and Bukit Bintang area at 1am ... and the thing is -- I'm not even there to watch the fireworks!!!

Anyway I would like to thank the person who gave me a tiring and sweat a lot night walk at these area or I'll be rotting in front of my lappie :) It isn't that bad afterall because it's the intention of the person wanting to keep me accompany that counts and not what happened in the middle.

At last, hopefully all the 'suey' things in year 2008 will be gone completely and luck will come along in this year 2009 :)

一年前的今天，这一分这一秒我再干些什么呢？-- 12月31日，傍晚6点半。

我就在飞机上即将抵达香港机场再转换飞机飞往吉隆坡。而出发地点是台湾桃园机场。

非常舍不得那21天之旅，所认识的朋友，室友们，9车的，11车的，全体团员们还有讨人厌的徐伯伯。:P (别告诉他...shh~~~)

Let me show you the brief jorney of mine in Taiwan... ( 对不起啦，不会翻译成中文）

从KLIA我们必须到香港机场转换到台北的飞机。至少我能说我到过香港..........的机场:P
以下是从香港飞往台北机上的食物... 不好吃的:(

抵达了台北之后就被送到剑谭青年活动中心去了也就是我们的住舍。接着就是迎新会咯。听了一大堆的致词和规则之后便可回房自由活动了。
忘了第二天干啥去了但记得在那我们有 ‘上课’去。
觉得好奇又上啥课对吗？-- 学做灯笼和画墨水画咯。

After waking up in there morning, I was wondering what will I be doing for the rest of my day. aiks! I have not been to The Curve and One U that area as the decoration over there seems to be nice. so... not much of chirstmas picture taken by my DSLR... what a shame to claim that I'm into photography :P ( I suppose that most photographer will take the opportunity to snap snap the joy of this festival? )

I'm just lying down on my bed feeling extremely bored... sienz! sienz! sienz! while there are plenty of programme awaiting ahead but I'm just too lazy to get up as if there were 100kg iron ball being chained to my legs and hands.

And yet still screaming SIEN! SIEN! SIEN! mayb I'm having serious PMS kua...

Finally, I have decided to go to my friend's christmas party to kill the bored and also not to be regret later on for staying at home during this cheerful festival. since there will be a gift exchanging thingy going on so I just went and search around my house for something that can be used as a gift ( of course it' still new ). Sorry for that as the party start at 8 and it was already 7 something...

Unfortunately, there is someone who saw the small packet present and start to complain. Worst still when the gift is opened and he claimed that it's cheap :S I know he might just trying to joke but still it is.....*speechless*..... Although it is small and cheap but I think it's the sincere heart that counts rite? :)

Decided to get myself some income and there I go....
working in a roadshow for Yeslam

Wondering what brand it is it?
FYI it is a well known brand in Saudi or middle east which based in Swiss and it is a high end brand ( that's what we are told )
having a boutique in Starhill selling bags, perfum, wallet, body care product and sunglasses...
p/s perhaps you can go to starhill and have a look :P

It's quite fun working there as the people are really insane and funny... especially Hashim, the supervisor..
We are able to munch some snack while standing at the counter ( but try not to make it obvious ) it makes those CK roadshow promoter from Isetan that set up their booth besides us envy us so much :P *winks*

and believe it... we sit on the floor when we are tired ( of course we try not to make it TOO obvious la ) :P

I think the company should have just chau us yau yu ... LOL

Well... ok guys do not tease me!!!

Yeah, I admit that I have my girls magazine hehe...
been collected these for the past 1-2 years.

The price is only RM 5 in the past
p/s RM 5 is the price for the issue which is 2 months later than in Taiwan/Japan,
means that you will get May issue in July and if you wanted to get July issue in July it cost about RM18 :p

Price is going up till RM9 now ( for the late issue... WTF)

But anyway it doesn't matter anymore as I have switched from those to this which is more educational and more wise to spend my RM9 on... :P
p/s it RM9 now not RM8 as shown in the photo

And the switch is because of this... my DSLR :P
which I need to thank my brother for it

At least I think that my $$ is better spent now :)

Yeah... guess that everyone do agree that there is a huge differents between guys and gals

Here is my version of how do I take up the 1 hour in the morning

10 mins - waiting for the second round of alarm to ring before getting up

5 mins - brushing my teeth and washing my face

15 mins - putting on the toner, moisturiser and bla bla bla

15 mins - changing clothes ( as some of the cloth were at downstairs and some were in my room

so went up n down for a few times)

15 mins - breakfast

just in time .... 1 hour

too bad if I need to make up... another 20 mins I guess ( for a quick one)

so... Please give me at least 1 hour allowance :)

A holiday that I've been waiting for so long
So what's next???

Kinda stuck with this question
Do not know what to do to keep myself occupied during this holiday

Since there MIGHT be a week long trip to Cambodia in between the holidays
so I could not get myself a part time job as it is impossible for me to take off

Watching movie and sleep all the time could be tiring too
Shopping will increase the tendency of spending more $$ or ended up being a shopaholic...

It's neither this nor that
so how?

Haiz... when you are busy you long for holidays and envy those who are on their holiday
and when you are on the holiday you long for something to do

Paintball/War game

Wow...
I have always wanted to go for a paintball game
and at last I have granted the oppotunity

It was located at Gombak which I think most of the people are not aware of its existance
There were 2 war area :
- the flat land and
- the one on the slope

Too bad that the flat area was closed for renovation and we have got to use the slope area

We were intorduced 2 methods of playing the war game:
1. the normal ones where you need to get the flag which is located in front of the enemy "home"
2. a king is selected in a team and only the king is allowed to get the flag but once the king had been shot 3 times the whole team is lost.

since it is on the slope one of the "home" will be situated on top of the slope and the other is on the bottom
We found that it is difficult for us to win if u get the upper "home"

While waiting for the workers to get our equipment ready and waiting for the briefing

finally the briefing started with the safety of the game and equipment

Something in the Book or in the Gurls?

Was flipping through the library book in this newly rented room of mine to get some idea for the design and then I saw this in between the book.

It was just like the yellow non sticking lil notes but it is just of different colour and shapes....

and I suppose it belongs to a gurl...?

Well I was wondering why are the gurls into stuff like that even when they are in college?

Yeah, cute doggie pin, hairy cute lil handphone accessories, etc

I remember when I was young, as if gurls were meant to like barbie, cute soft toy, colourful dress especially PINK, strawberry and bla bla bla....

I wonder whether it's something inborn and stay for life or just for a period of time....

(p/s I never play barbie and I hate barbie :P , never own a soft toy either due to asthma problem)

We were doing our cafeteria project last semester and my classmate found this Ole Cafe at Changkat Raja Chulan is quite a unique place where this cafe provides space for the artist to work and to display their artpiece.

Since architecture is closely related to art so it came to our lecturer mind that we might be able to have our presentation there instead of our boring lil studio in college.

It was 26/08/08
The place that is provided for our presentation were located at the first floor and we were greeted with these art pieces in the space.

Soon our presentation started at about 10 am with a formal manner.

After the first two presentor ( I'm one of them :P ) the presentation had finally turned out to be like a tutorial session...

It took quite a long time for us to get everyone presented their idea to the lecturer and it is almost 4pm by then ( I guess as I leave early at 3pm)

A design that received good comment from lecturer for our studio

Younger Generation

Just saw a blog of a lil gurl who is still studying in secondary school...

Oh yeah guess what she got?
2 Vaio laptops, Canon DSLR, LV bags, latest handphone model....

WOW!!!

It's all that I could not image that I will own at that time and even now

I wonder are they being spoilt by their parents or it is just the way of the rich lives?

Ok well, I got my laptop, DSLR and handphone now but....
~ I am few years older than her :P
~ the laptop was just a Dell laptop
~ a Sony DSLR which is cheaper than the Canon ( my birthday present from my elder brother )
p/s although I've requested him to give me that but I did not expect that he will give me for real
~ a handphone which dated 2 1/2 years back

And during my brother and sister generation, they have none....

The primary pupils....
even the standard one have their high end handphone
It is hard to imagine what their world will look like in the future

will they be demanding?
will they get matured early and fight against parents all the time?
will they get involved in unhealthy activities? p/s even secondary school children smoke and go clubbing ( I don't even know what clubbing is at that time )

I don't think that the education system and the society here are much help on developing the ability to think and judge in the younger generation on everything that they do

If they could not think and judge in the rightway
I do not think that it is a good thing for them to get expose much on all these and give the freedom at such a young age

Looking Through Devices

OK I'm getting frustruated with this sunglasses that I have to send it back to fix it trice since the day I've bought it and that would be in January this year.

There was once the person broke the lens while tightening it and I've got to wait for 1 week to get it back

Finally, it has chosen to break

I can no longer use it as it is too dark, not friendly to my ear :P and troublesome

And this is what i finally decided to have for RM170
The lens used is a polarised lens which will conceal the unecessary reflection to enhance driving experience

When I first put it on, I was surprise to see things that cannot be seen by our naked eyes
Opss.... it's not supernatural stuff of course

It just that those car UV and heat protection appeared obvious with this sunglasses
Pattern such as polka dots and stripe can be seen and also there were some that will give a reflection of rainbow colour

Perhaps it will make driving not so boring.....?

回忆童军岁月

大约一个月前就被邀请出席这8月16日的回忆童军岁月聚会
要是还在念着Form 6 的我一定会犹豫着到底去不去因为又懒又"闲"的
可是这次却没带着沉重的心情出席这聚会
就带着 " let's see what they have got to offer " 的态度去出席吧

在那就看到了这些好久不见再也熟悉不过的东西

令我想起了三角瞭望台，餐桌，猴子桥, 等得 gadjet.... 好久没绑了。不过现在也不会费时费力的去绑这些东东

五颜六色的领巾... 突然想起我好像都有收藏着好几条吧

就是我们这几个活在当年的小瓜

记得当初第一次上课时，黑板上就写着 " 一日童军，一世童军 "

真的有那么semangat吗？

Yeah got this from the " I don't need sex, the school of architecture fucks me all the time" group in facebook..

Damn it I don't hate it when people ask me to go and sleep while there are a lot more to do but I do hate it when people are asking " Why do you always do your things during last minute, can't you do it earlier?!!!"

OH GOSH!!! Do you think that I do not want to finish it earlier? I wanted to finish it ASAP but I just can't ....

If you are architecture students you've probably experienced:

- the taste of wood glue-changes in your vocabulary: homework to project, ball to sphere, etc

- you've slept more than 20 straight hours on weekends ( not really 20 hours but definately longer than the normal days )

- you hate people telling you "go to sleep" or "do you still have a lot of work?" ( kinda ok with it, not a big deal)

- you can easily discuss with authority the effects of caffeine on different drinks

- no matter the effort you put in a project, somebody will always say “why don’t you add this? or “why don’t you change this here? or “I think that…but…yeah, its ok? ( WTF !!! when can I stop listening to all that?!!!)

- you’ve heard all your ipod songs in a week-you aren’t seen in public without bags under your eyes ( Yeah !! been in the same family with the PANDAS )

-whenever you get invited somewhere, it is followed by “or do you have a lot of homework? ( it just keep on reminding me on the work, DAMN !!! )

-you’ll dance YMCA with a choreography without a drop of alcohol in your system ( yeah going to be insane soon )

-you write down a quick message with rapidographs, lead holders, markers and ink

-you constantly make up excuses for courses that are not design related why you didn’t do your work ( it's normal )

-you have more pictures of landscapes and places than of people

-your worst nightmare consists of not finishing a project ( worst worst nightmare !!! )

-someone once called you “lazy? and you wanted them murdered ( get them murdered in the most shortest time possible !!! )

-you can live without human contact, sunlight, food, but if your plotter’s ink runs out… chaos!!! ( I'm going NUTS when it happens )

-when somebody lends you a Bic pen you look down at it ( haha ... true espeacially the 'A' 'B' 'C' eraser ... just don't understand how they can use things like that ... it's just not meant for human )

-you don’t care about sports cars, your favorite car is the one where you can put in your model and your huge computer

-you design spectacular things without the idea of the cost-you have the modern mark: a blister in your palm’s hand for the constant use of your mouse ( cutting scars )

-everybody tells you how they admire your work, “but there is no money for it?"

-you’ve gained the ability to sleep in whatever surface: pencils, keyboards, backpacks, your studio mates, food, etc

-you always have the idea that your project will always be recognized

-when you finally have free time to go out you keep thinking “who was the idiot that designed the restaurant’s bathroom? “who designed this menu? or “who designed this [chair, table, lighting, fork, etc] ( yeah had gone insane, mad, nuts )

-you've been at many sunrises, yet you've never seen one-you need to read all this in a facebook group to realize how weird your life is

Kampar Site Visit

Yeah the site for our design studio is a ex mining area at kampar
Therefore we were having a 3 days trip to kampar

The first thing that we did when we reached there was listening to a brief on the site that we were staying - Kampar new town

After that we went to our hotel room

Damn it is so nice and well design with some architecture thought in it

The ticket was booked in January
It seems that I have to wait so long for the trip as it was in May
but the day has come
Day 1 (21/5)

Arrived at Bangkok City's Khao San Road at about 1pm
walking round and round to look for the guest house that we found on net
couldn't find it...
So at last we have decided to put up a night at a hotel along the road
which is “sightable" to us ( to get rid of the heavy luggage)
before continuing our search for the guest house

We are able to wake up a bit late as it was on our own...
A "tuk tuk" was hired for 200 bhat after our breakfast to take 3 of us round the town for about 6 hours ( the "tuk tuk" do actually waited for us after dropping us at a point) ...
It sounds cheap... as it's only RM20 for 3 for 6 hours yet waiting for you at every spot...
you can take your own sweet time
But later we found out that it cost only about 50 or 60 bhat which is about RM5 or RM6 for the same service

The first point that the "tuk tuk" driver brought us to was the so called Floating Market
We need to hire a boat in order to get there which cost 3 of us 1800 bhat (RM180)
and to our disappointment it's not the floating market that we normally see in photo or TV
The one that we normally saw was located at a place which took us 2 hours drive to reach there
Damn kena con again!!!

The rest of the spot were OK but the enterence fees is on our own expenses of course...

At the end of the trip ( anyhow he did not finish the journey as promised earlier on), yet we gave him 100 bhat for tips .
Damn, how stupid are we....

Oh ya, and the "tuk tuk" driver loves to bring tourist to the jewellery export centre in order to get some free gasoline for their "tuk tuk"...
It's tiring whenever they say that we need to go to that place...

After being conned earlier on, we decided to walk to the temples that were left out during the "tuk tuk" ride as it is within walking distance
Depending solely on the tourist map we went to the National Museum which is the largest in South East Asia and Wat Mahathat

Met with a friendly lady from Chiang Mai who claim herself to be a doctor who came for conference over here...
That's when she recommended us to go to the silk centre and the jewellery export centre(again!!!)

Then to the TAT company to ask for the price to the floating market....( actually kena con again ) the only thing that we are smart enough was we decided not to buy the Calypso ticket at the TAT company....
they wanted to sell 800 bhat while we can get it for 450 bhat at place near our guest house

Wanted to go to the Grand Palace but it was closed at 3.30pm.. Damn...

so we went to the Wat Po instead ( sleeping buddha)

Was rushing for my construction model the night before in order for me to be in the trip...

We discovered 1 creepy spot on the island when we were riding the motocycles round the island..

It was a road beside the cemetery area... there were huge tree along that particular stretch of road, the leaves overlap each other perfectly without leaving any space for the sunlight to squeeze in ...

The place was so cold that you might have thought of the air conditioner that you have in your house.

Hair Cut

Wohoo... hair cut by Mr Min Byong Kwon in Shunji Matsuo Midvalley Boulevard

Since Kaoru is no longer there so I've decided to give him a shot and his skill turn out to be not bad
what turned out is what I like espeacially the bouncing effect and not too layered feel of it
although it might be expensive but I think it's worth it.

Yeah, after the hectic weeks before external review though there are still many more to do...

Machu Picchu

sounds like 'pikachu' to me with the 'chu' 'chu' sound and the 'pi'

Was forced to browse through the net on Machu Picchu site as it is related to our Site Planning subject...
I was incredibly amazed by what I've found on the net...

It was such as an amazing sacred place to live in..
surrounded by the green in a highland that sits in between the mountains with some 'cloud'
It's really heaven on earth to me
and I believe there are much more to be discovered in such a place
Oh~~ how I wish I could spent a few days there...

Here is some brief about Machu Piccu:

A long lost city discovered by Yale archeologist Hiram Bingham in 1911
It was built by the Incas during the Incas civilization
A small but extraordinary city invisible from below and completely self-contained surrounded by agricultural terraces
The massive stone that is used to construct the building is nicely sculpted and fitted together without using motar
And yet you cant even insert a thin knife blade into the gap in between the joint
( it sounds something like the pyramid in Egypt but this place is nicer compared to the desert :P)

Yeah, there is this Intihuatana stone ( meaning Hitching Post of the Sun)
which is designed to hitch the sun at the two equinoxes
At the midday on March 21st and September 21st,
the sun stands almost directly above the pillar creating no shadow at all

According to Shamanic legends
When sensitive person touch their forehead to the stone
the Intihuatana opens one's vision to the spirit world

I went to the group art gallery in Pasar Seni yesterday
21 artists each with 21 of their works are being displayed and are available for sale
Those artists are the real artist and fine art student or so called as junior artist

Well I've discovered this art piece of my friend's lecturer which is a semi translucent PANTIES...

I thought the hair was drawn by a pencil or whatsoever
but after taking a closer look at it.... you can actually see the PUBIC HAIR...OMG

I personally do not like to see dropped hair scattered all over the floor espeacially in the wet it's just disgusting....
Thing that makes it more disgusting is that the hair doesn't look like the normal straight hair...
Curly and short... Yucks!

SO.... I do not fancy this art work at all!!!

The Panties with pubic hair

There is another art piece of a fine art student from dasign is being sold for RM588
Why RM588?
It is actually the potrait of the artist's father
Entitled 我爸爸 (My Father) in chinese and it sounds something like 五八八 (588)
and surprisingly it was sold out on the first day of the exhibition
kinda touching...

the first question was appointed to her when I first saw this picture was " it is a man or a women?"
why?
just simply because it looks musculine but there are boobs and pussy....

I'm so depress....ouch!

It looks like money making is quite easy for the artists as long as you've got a place to display your work.... XD

unlike what I've thought of them...

During the exhibition I've got to know why an artist seems to be so emotional and acted in a strange way like what we used to see in TV

Quite an eye opener for me...

Yeah and she is going to give me one of her art work worth RM150 as my birthday present...Yay!
